Paperframe Studio is designed to process your photos and PDFs locally in your browser.

Files and document content

Files you select are handled on your device for editing and export. The website does not require an account and does not intentionally transmit document content to a Paperframe server.

Local storage

The app may save settings, an autosaved project, and cached application resources in browser storage on your device. Remove them using the app’s clear function or your browser’s site-data controls.

OCR language data

When OCR is used, required recognition models may be downloaded from the library’s distribution service. Recognition then runs in the browser. Avoid OCR on sensitive material if third-party network requests are restricted by your organization.

Hosting logs

The hosting provider may automatically process limited technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested URLs, and security logs to operate and protect the website.

Third-party analytics

Paperframe Studio does not include advertising trackers or analytics by default. This policy must be updated before tracking, accounts, payments, or cloud storage are added.

Your responsibility

Review exported documents before relying on them. Do not edit or distribute documents unless you have permission.
