Help and frequently asked questions

How do I create an A4 photo sheet?

Choose photos, select portrait or landscape, choose a grid, set margins and gaps, adjust each crop, and use Print or Export PDF.

Why does browser print preview look different?

Select A4 paper, use the same orientation selected in the studio, set scale to 100%, and disable browser-added headers and footers. Paperframe hides editing outlines when printing.

Do my documents leave my device?

Editing operations are designed to run locally in the browser. See the privacy policy for storage and OCR details.

Can every PDF’s existing text be edited?

No. PDFs store content differently from word-processing files. Selectable text can often be detected and visually replaced. Scanned pages require OCR, and complex fonts or layouts may need manual correction.

What are the practical file limits?

Limits depend on device memory, browser, page count, image resolution, and PDF complexity. For large jobs, work in smaller batches and close other memory-heavy tabs.

Which browser works best?

Use a current desktop version of Brave, Chrome, Edge, or another Chromium-based browser. Keep the tab open until an export finishes.

Can I use it offline?

After the installed app caches its resources, many tools can work offline. OCR models and uncached resources may need internet access on first use.
